I will try this today.  By the way, perhaps I should have mentioned already
that I use SCHED_4BSD (I'm the guy who periodically rants that it should be=

default, or at least that the scheduler should be a kernel loadable module),
though it's hard to see how that could be a factor.

Yes, I had an occurrence of brain fade when I put zfs into mod_list.  I pro=
mise
never to have brain fade ever again.
