This prevents the libsmbclient installed by net/samba-devel from being picked up by ldconfig, which in turn prevents dependancies on libsmbclient from being satisified by net/samba-devel. >How-To-Repeat: 1) Install net/samba-devel 2) Attempt to install a port which LIB_DEPENDS on libsmbclient (such as kdebase) samba-devel's libsmbclient will not satisfy the dependancy as it hasn't been picked up by ldconfig. This is because no libsmbclient.so.[x] symlink exists. Ports will then attempt to install net/samba-libsmbclient to fill the dependancy, which will break because it conflicts with samba-devel.
