Obviously you are asking if XFree86 supports Matrox G100, since FreeBSD
running in terminal mode definitively does.
Yes, XF86 supports G100 since 3.3.3 The version shipped with 3.1-RELEASE
is 3.3.3.1 You should use the SVGA driver, it has all the code for
Matrox cards.
