Hubbard about helping out with the FreeBSD effort. I would like to work with others to create a document that knits together all docs that relate to either converting or adding FreeBSD to a Windoze9x machine. There are some wonderful writings in your series. A potential problem is there is a large number of docs, a number that might dissuade those feed the milk of 9x from graduating to a more robust OS. Certainly some might argue this is coddling those who need to get out there and hit the man pages, but I think with more 'hand-holding' we can do more to bring acceptance to full-featured OS's like FreeBSD. UNIX does not come easy to new people. I think it would be good to make the first experience of installing the OS as effortless as possible. What do you think? --------------92C07045B3A4DAFE5E172D70 Content-Type: message/rfc822 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline X-POP3-Rcpt: jstschuh@trianglenet Return-Path: owner-freebsd-doc@FreeBSD.ORG Received: from hub.freebsd.org (hub.FreeBSD.ORG [204.216.27.18]) by trianglenet.net (8.7.5/8.7.3) with ESMTP id EAA19877 for ; Fri, 18 Sep 1998 04:01:00 -0500 Received: from localhost (daemon@localhost) by hub.freebsd.org (8.8.8/8.8.8) with SMTP id BAA27917; Fri, 18 Sep 1998 01:25:37 -0700 (PDT) (envelope-from owner-freebsd-doc) Received: by hub.freebsd.org (bulk_mailer v1.6); Fri, 18 Sep 1998 01:25:09 -0700 Received: (from majordom@localhost) by hub.freebsd.org (8.8.8/8.8.8) id BAA27865 for freebsd-doc-outgoing; Fri, 18 Sep 1998 01:25:04 -0700 (PDT) (envelope-from owner-freebsd-doc@FreeBSD.ORG) Received: from ntu-kpi.kiev.ua (ntu-kpi.kiev.ua [195.178.136.20]) by hub.freebsd.org (8.8.8/8.8.8) with ESMTP id BAA27833 for ; Fri, 18 Sep 1998 01:24:49 -0700 (PDT) (envelope-from chami@hosix.ntu-kpi.kiev.ua) Received: from hosix.ntu-kpi.kiev.ua (hosix.ntu-kpi.kiev.ua [10.100.0.6]) by ntu-kpi.kiev.ua (8.8.8/8.7.3) with ESMTP id LAA05179 for ; Fri, 18 Sep 1998 11:24:01 +0300 (EEST) Received: from hosix.ntu-kpi.kiev.ua (chami.hosix.ntu-kpi.kiev.ua [10.100.24.18]) by hosix.ntu-kpi.kiev.ua (1.2.3.4/hidden) with ESMTP id LAA29347 for ; Fri, 18 Sep 1998 11:24:08 +0300 (EEST) Message-ID: <3602A57B.300F85F3@hosix.ntu-kpi.kiev.ua> Date: Fri, 18 Sep 1998 11:25:00 -0700 From: chaminda X-Mailer: Mozilla 4.06 [en] (Win95; I) MIME-Version: 1.0 To: freebsd-doc@FreeBSD.ORG Subject: Help information Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Sender: owner-freebsd-doc@FreeBSD.ORG X-Loop: FreeBSD.org X-Mozilla-Status2: 00000000 Please send me help information about installing (Ms dos & Unix partition )and configuring kernel to asankah@lycosmail.com thanking you asanka perera To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-doc" in the body of the message --------------92C07045B3A4DAFE5E172D70-- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-doc" in the body of the message
