Initial base install goes fine. Installed VMware tools first, then Xorg. Added my login to the Video group. this command, "To run the X Window System, use startx(1) from x11/xinit, or install and configure a display manager to start a graphical login on boot." Initiating startx does nothing at the prompt. And where does one find a display manager. Is there any resource out there that explains what changes need to be made to the xorg.conf file for use with VMWare? Sincere thanks for any replies. --000000000000cb0cac064585d495 Content-Type: text/html; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable
