https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D218617 Bug ID: 218617 Summary: devel/quilt: Bring in textproc/gnugrep for a proper grep(1) with GNU extensions Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: freebsd-ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: bsdports@kyle-evans.net CC: johans@FreeBSD.org CC: johans@FreeBSD.org Created attachment 181746 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=3D181746&action= =3Dedit svn(1) diff of devel/quilt Hi, This port expects a proper grep(1) complete with GNU extensions. For the ti= me being, use the more up to date version of GNU grep, textproc/gnugrep, rather than relying on GNU extensions in base grep. This was identified in a recent exp-run to test installing BSD grep as /usr/bin/grep and disable GNU grep compatibility in the process. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
