I am forwarding this as I don't know where in the documentation
there might be something on virtual hosting.....and I haven't gotten
any mail from freebsd-doc since February 9....

Subject: Virtual Hosts on FreeBSD

I found your article on www.freebsd.com - I thought the article was very
good and very helpful to people who are of limited knowledge or brand
new to UNIX and/or FreeBSD. It is very clear and helpful - I printed
out a copy and will keep it on my corkboard by my desk for quick
reference.

I would like to see an article on all the steps required to add a
virtual host (as a non-IP address) to the server. For example, I want
to change the name "www.excompany.com" from one ISP's servers and
configure my machine so it will run on mine, once the InterNIC changes
are complete. I have scoured practically the whole net and have nothing
that tells me step-by-step on how to do this - what do I need to change,
if anything, besides httpd.conf? Do I need to restart the machine once
this done?

I know I am not the only person who has asked these questions and
others, as I have found no one who can definitively tell me how to
accomplish my task.

Please, if you get a chance, add this in to your tutorial for us
students of "Become a Webmaster By Trial and Error" out there!

Thanks,
