May I ask you a question about my FreeBSD configuration? I have difficulty to configure my ppp dialing to my ISP. My ISP has dynamic IP selection, and I tried several setting from references, but my ppp dial-up still not work. Could you tell me how to configure my ppp-dialup? I have a US Robotics 56K V.90 modem. Every time I try to dial the ISP phone number, I just can hear the dial tone, after "dial OK!", then the modem was halted. I also used "term" command to talk to my modem, it didn't work and caused the system crashed. Please help me to solve the big problem. If possible, could you send me example files of "ppp.conf" and "ppp.linkup" that I just need to modify a little bit to fit my system? Thanks! Your early reply will be much appreciated. Have a nice day!
