My system has the default SCSI controller, 4x170MHz procesors and 1 x 18GB drive; 5.3 installed just fine. My dmesg output is attached just as an FYI and I will let you know how 5.4 does as well. If any testing is needed on this hardware, let me know and I will do my best to assist.
