Per core policy, those folks that haven't committed in the last 18 months may have their commit bits expired. The following accounts didn't respond to my email asking if they were still using their commit bits, as far as I can tell. Other people who haven't committed in a while replied that (a) they didn't need their commit bit or (b) they were going to use it soon or (c) they were going to commit and did commit. (c) I didn't do anything to :-). (b) I gave the benefit of the doubt and (a) has already been done. Core policy also is that anybody whose commit bit has been deactivated while they were in good standing due to an administrative action such as this can reactive their commit bit by sending a request to core@. Such requests are usually dealt with within a day or two. If you feel your name is unfairly on this list, please contact me. While I've made every effort to make sure that people on this list were sent the warning letter, and that I didn't get a response, the large number of people involved makes doing so a tedious and error-prone (I hope not tho:-) process. Also, I obtained the list from Peter's activity tables, and relied on the information there. Core would like to thank everybody who has contributed to the project in the past. We would hope that they will have time to contribute in the future.
