Looks like the bsd.port.mk in 4-exp doesn't have the auto* stuff in it right now. So I dug out an old patch and removed the irrelevant parts (that have been committed). This patch was last modified 5 January 2002. http://people.FreeBSD.org/~will/4-exp/bsd.port.mk.20020121.diff Please note that as I said before, the AUTOPATH_HACK part needs to be rethought.
