Hello everyone,

I was very happily using acroread4 on my 4.3-STABLE system and then one
day it stopped working and gave me the following error:

Exited with error code: 0x400e0009

I have since discovered that it still works for other users on the same
machine (ie. if I log in as a different user, it will work fine). I have
removed and reinstalled the package as well as moving my .acrorc to
.acrorc_old (this just gives me the User Agreement when I start acroread4
and then the same error). I have searched the mailing list archives and
the internet and not come up with anything.

I think it has something to do with the libraries. I was just curious if
anyone else had this problem. It has also happened to my boss on his
4.3-STABLE machine. For now we installed Acrobat3 instead, but we are
finding that many PDF documents do not display correctly and would like to
go back to using Acrobat4.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Please CC me as I am not on the list

Thanks in advance,
