The biggest problem with this driver is that the architecture of the
parallel port driver is now totally clumsy.  It has already been
problematical to add the PLIP functionality, but now with the ZIP
driver, all bets are off.

That's not to say i'm objecting against this driver...  Lacking a
better architecture of the parallel port subsystem, we might accept
it, but only if there's also an active maintainer (probably the author
himself).
