Hello, I've run today "freebsd-update fetch" and it found some updates, including /boot/kernel/kernel: The following files will be updated as part of updating to 7.0-RELEASE-p4: /boot/kernel/kernel /boot/kernel/kernel.symbols /usr/src/sys/amd64/amd64/exception.S /usr/src/sys/conf/newvers.sh /usr/src/sys/kern/vfs_mount.c /usr/src/sys/netinet6/icmp6.c Then I ran "freebsd-update install" # freebsd-update install Installing updates... done. I guess this does not update my running kernel and I have to reboot to really update it. Right? Or is there any way to do this without reboot? O course I doubt it but I'd like to make sure I'm not missing some magic feature... :-). Thanks!
