Wow, I totally misread that the first time :-)  3.4-R should be 
rearing it's head next month.  As for new features, I can't help
there, but watching the cvs-all mailing list will give you a good idea
what's going into it.  The -STABLE branch (RELENG_3) is the one you
want to keep an eye on.  The rest applies to -CURRENT.
