Hi all I have been looking at this for the last week and would love some help. I'm running 2.2.7-RELEASE with squid11 on port 8080 and wish to turn it into a transproxy server. Some thing like (0.0.0.0/0:80 > 127.0.0.1:8080) At my gateway I have a cisco router so I can catch out going traffic on port 80 and forward it to a transproxy server. I beleve I need natd. Can some one point me to the right direction. ( Step By Step Please As I have lost the plot ) Thanks All Keith Anderson PS I tried 3.0 but had trouble compiling the kernel with the DTP SCSI controller. I must be missing something with DTP controllers. But it works fine in 2.2.7-RE.... I updated from 2.2.7-RE... to 3.0-RE.... I set the boot device to sd0 and can not get past config. fails on >config COMPUTER config: line 48 no root device specified <snip line 48> config kernel root on sd0 <\snip> This is just by the way So I'm back to 2.2.7-......
