Hi,
=20
a quick check at http://www.freebsd.org revealed the following URL =
:-
=20
http://www.freebsd.org/releases/2.2.5R/errata.html
=20
In there it says the following :-
=20
A bug in XF86Setup causes it to fail to create a symbolic link from =
/usr/X11R6/bin/X to the right X server for your hardware if a link does =
not=20
already exist. When you type startx the following error is =
displayed: xinit: =20
No such file or directory (errno 2): no server "X" found in PATH =20
Fix: Execute the following commands (as root) and re-run XF86Setup. =
# cd=20
/usr/X11R6/bin # ln -s XF86_VGA16 X If XF86Setup asks you if you =
want to use=20
the existing XF86Config for defaults choose no. When it asks you if =
you want to=20
create an 'X' link to the server choose yes.
=20
Hope this helps (P.S. the search engine at http://www.freebsd.org is =
really good for this sort of thing).

Dear, FreeBSD team.
=20
I have purchased FreeBSD 2.2.5 from Walnut Creek,=20
=20
I have installed to my computer, (PII/300 64 MB, Matrox Mellenium 2 =
MB, HD 4.2 GB) and successful.
=20
I want to run X Window and I already configure the XFREE, =
/stand/sysinstall.
=20
After that I run startx=97Cannot find server, server available =
XF86_SVGA, and so on.
=20
Can you tell me what should I do about this problem?
=20
Thanks a lot=85.
=20
Regards,
=20
NurHadi
