https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D270818 Bug ID: 270818 Summary: x11/nvidia-driver-340: GeForce GT 240/PCIe/SSE2: [panic: vm_fault_lookup: fault on nofault entry]: Random kernel panics upon opening OpenGL based windows Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: amd64 OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: danfe@FreeBSD.org Reporter: gordon.zar@gmail.com Flags: maintainer-feedback?(danfe@FreeBSD.org) Assignee: danfe@FreeBSD.org Created attachment 241459 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=3D241459&action= =3Dedit Kernel panic crash dump from /var/crash/ Using the nvidia-340 driver I experience frequent crashes that manifest whenever I try to run a OpenGL application. This doesn't always happen but rather seemingly at random. It does seem to happen more frequently when my CPU is under higher load. The entire screen freezes, I can no longer interact with the system, mouse locks up keyboard locks up (or at least I don't see it respond since my screen is frozen) and then eventually my system just reboots. I have to use the -ignoreABI option when starting the X server due to my o= ld hardware. I am attaching a crash.txt file created upon the crash. I can also provide = the vmcore if required (but its over 1.5GB in size). --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
