Why is this? And why are you updating every time there is a rev bump? It almost sounds like you're recompiling everything just for the heck of it, though I don't get how even that takes 48 hours. Even make buildworld is done in multi-user mode and so you could use your workstation during the build. And we're talking about ports here so ...
