What plextor drive did you try?  I've heard specifically from someone that
they got the plexwriter 10/12/32 to work fine.  What errors did you
receive?  Are you sure it wasn't just a random piece of bad hardware?  I'm
curious because the plexwriter has gotten extremely high reviews for
reliability, so I'm looking to buy one to use with FreeBSD.
