I am looking for some helpful > suggestions and methods to help me pinpoint the bottleneck. i think that i wouldn't use linksys hubs....maybe the one i had was bad but our cisco router thought that the ethernet connection was being dropped on and off. i don't remember what the collision rate was on the network but it wasn't very high and we tried various ethernet cables until we finally removed the linksys hub. after that all of the router messages about the ethernet interface being down stopped completely....
