Dear sir,
  I used RedHat 7.2 and Kernel 2.4.7-10smp.
  I have linux-aic7xxx-6.2.4-2.4.7.patch.gz. I want to
patch system. I follow below.
 1. cd /usr/src/redhat
 2. gunzip -dc /mnt/linux-aic7xxx-6.2.4-2.4.7.patch.gz|patch p1

  Is command correct ?
  If correct, I don"t know why have error messages below.

can't find file to patch at input line 4
Perhaps you used the wrong -p or --strip option?
