I've tried NAT and bridging, no DHCP, and can't ping anything except the localhost IPs. XP ipconfig shows the fixed IP, plus 2 192.168.c.d IPs from VMnet1 and VMnet8. I'm sure this is really simple, but my experimentation has come up with zilch. Len
