All the db* ports install files with the version number embedded in them, so you can have multiple versions installed without conflicts. "ldd /path/to/exe" will tell you which library a given binary is linked with, and you can run "pkg_info -R 'db4*'" to determine which ports depend on which versions of db. -- Dan Nelson dnelson@allantgroup.com
