Howdy, I'm working on a scientific file format (HDF5 - http://hdf.ncsa.uiuc.edu) which has a lot of similarities to a filesystem. I'd like to do more research about filesystem techniques for improving the features and performance of our library. Can anyone point out some good books or papers (or web-sites) to read up on filesystem design?
