When new provider is created it is given for taste to other classes. This interrupt storm could be a result of some kind of abuse from=20 one of existing classes. Could you provide output of command: # sysctl -b kern.geom.conftxt | awk '{print $2}' | sort | uniq It will be good if you could try unload some classes (gvinum, etc.) before loading geom_stripe, just to be sure. Increasing kern.geom.stripe.debug could be also interesting. --=20 Pawel Jakub Dawidek http://www.FreeBSD.org pjd@FreeBSD.org http://garage.freebsd.pl FreeBSD committer Am I Evil?
