This is my first attempt to compile in a driver in a new kernel I am attempting to build. Using loader.conf, I have the 'snd_hda' driver presently being loaded. I want to compile it directly into the kernel. I tried this: device snd_hda # Sound driver Unfortunately, the kernel will not build. What is the proper way to build a kernel with sound embedded into it? Thanks! -- Carmel
