I suggested python 3.12, but I see that python 3.11 is a good ch= oice for now. It has new features and is stable. Since python 3.12 removes distutils, it would mean a lot of changes for FreeBSD ports. So, using 3.11, like the VFX Reference Platform, is a better idea for now.
