On my 3.0-SNAP system, the RealAudio encoder 3.0 will not record sound directly from the line or mic inputs on my Sounblaster 16. Attempts to do so result in an immediate core dump. In order to produce a .ra file, I have to first make a raw file, then feed the raw file through raenc. Is this a known bug? I got no response from the RealAudio folks. Thanks.. -- Jim Durham
