I will continue to do so-- that is, to classify it as a bug, for the reasons I stated already. However, since I don't use securelevel, and have n+1 other hacks on my plate, I'm still not in any hurry to fix it. I do agree that the PC hardware design is absurd, and this is probably lossage from that. (I say probably because I haven't looked at the issue myself.)
