Well, the problem lies in the overal program. The SCSI sublayer of FreeBSD is substantially different from Linux'. Starting from 3.0 and onwards we use CAM (/usr/src/sys/cam). Else it was /usr/src/sys/scsi I think. For all my knowledge goes I think yer really in for a major task.
