Portscout frequently ignores not just GitLab-based, but
GitHub-based and even generic HTTP-based releases for no
apparent reason.  Sometimes it finds the update, but there's
no email.

It's a pity that such nice and useful piece of software is
essentially unmaintained; prominent bugs sit open for years
without any real progress:
