After spotting a Logitech cordless keyboard in use in one department that I maintain, I scoured the web looking for information about the possibility of interception of its signals. I've found nothing. Does anyone know how difficult it might be to sniff one of these devices? Logitech marketing info claims that it's "digitally secure", but without third-party information to back this up, my innately paranoid nature remains cautious, given its 6-10 foot range (more than enough to span cubicles or even apartments). - -d - -- David Talkington Prairienet dtalk@prairienet.org 217-244-1962 PGP key: http://www.prairienet.org/~dtalk/dt000823.asc -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: PGP 6.5.8 Comment: Made with pgp4pine 1.75-6 iQEVAwUBOqWXgL1ZYOtSwT+tAQETlgf9Gmu/FQHnkIgfcYnV3ATMSGyF3jNeRINr Z4yBDhPM1R8kiw9blexUTFuxMOlemDGAMSEEWt9fxh6CYcGWSG7+5LcDERBGauqn SgFJdbHGCmFBOAcw53fJAlZUWLUKIyuQWk7ppUcFDOM41vFyhY4JHG89vGhAq57D YDod9fmcFx2o9TrhonR8JHTqD+bQG6BbqYsZoIwGH46raw7tqBQxHFb/3GDGa0fU EVQmE8kTT9iab8UjItOOfeg3m/4ijilAYhYNZMlB+7ZYXZoVLsVR5WKE0cvRSU5s iAprByzkDSqWwChpijN8y3DKPSft2mzg+zhWb6jWYqENp471u/DvVg== =Y1KT -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-security" in the body of the message
