It started back in 2.2.5 or 6 so I'm thinking it's something in my config. It ranges from a Compaq DeskPro 2000 with IDE disk, SCSI for CDrom and tape (2940UW), 64meg EDO RAM. Another DeskPro 2000 with just SCSI for disk (also 2940UW) with only 32 Meg RAM. And at least 1 IBM Intelistation Z-Pro with 64 meg, SCSI hard disk (2940UW), ATAPI CD-Rom (I just never understood that). They are all now running 2.2.8-Stable from early December. FreeBSD horton.iaces.com 2.2.8-STABLE FreeBSD 2.2.8-STABLE #0: Thu Dec 10 11:05:09 CST 1998 proot@horton.iaces.com:/usr/src/sys/compile/HORTON i386 Horton has been doing it for sometime, the other DeskPro just happened today (well first time I noticed). And I know you heard this before, but *really* I did nothing! Anyone seen something like this. (Maybe I can use this as leverage to get rid of the Compaq's. :-) -- Entropy isn't what it used to be.
