I thought the answer went to the whole list. The command is 'xp' which simply deletes a letter, advances the cursor, and then 'p' pastes the letter back in. In standard vi style, the lowercase command inserts on one side of the cursor, and the uppercase on the other. So, 'xp' transposes, while 'xP' puts it back where it was. jm -- -------------------------------------------- Jonathon McKitrick -- jcm@freebsd-uk.eu.org "Doors to the pleasures of heaven or hell, and i didn't care which." -------------------------------------------- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
