I have done further analysis.

All of the ports listed except for two are either a) not relevant, or b) le=
af
ports.

Two depend on openmpi3.  I have asked their maintainers if they can be upda=
ted
to openmpi (now 4 by default).

A number of others depend on openmpi.  Note that gcc10 has had one minor up=
date
since the last -exp run, and openmpi has had two, so it is definitely time =
to
try the -exp again.
