I don't think so - it is more difficult to support.  There are also
plans to move, during 5.6.1 import, as many modules as possible from the
base system to ports, though Getopt-Long is not one of them.

There is a separate issue of ensuring that the version that gets used by
`use Getopt::Long' is the new one from the port, not the old one in the
base system.  This should also be resolved when 5.6.1 hits -current.
