Are there any progress in the > port? Or are there any unforeseen problems? There are *lots* of bugs in gcc 2.7. Most recently a bug w/regards to quads has been found by the NetBSD folks which affects almost all of their architectures. Until the FSF puts out a 'stable' compiler (will that ever happen?) or at least until really obvious bugs are fixed w/regard to the i386 architecture it's better for us to stick with old/known bug that to worry about a new crop of bugs.
