I double checked my setup when I added the second card, but the 3rd went in without a problem. If you're not sure which is which, you could always do a trial and error thing with the cables :) (I still need 1 more PCI and 2 more ISA ethernet cards to fill my box, I wonder how stable things are going to be at that point :) -- Troy Settle -- - -- - -- -- Got 'Net? -- Network Administrator | This space | Explore the world with st@i-Plus.net | for rent | iPlus Internet Services ICQ: 1625842 -- - -- - -- http://www.i-Plus.net -----Original Message----- From: Charles Mott To: freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Date: Saturday, November 01, 1997 7:22 PM Subject: Multiple PCI ethernet cards >How does one reliably ditinguish two or >more ethernet PCI cards of the same make? > >In the case of ISA bus cards I can use >IRQ and I/O base address settings to do >this. > >Charles Mott
