I not sure if this is related but I also found that after mounting a floppy there was continued drive activity every 10 or so seconds.. And my boot floppy lost its data after being mounted... This was on my IBM laptop, and I have had no problems with any of the previous versions... It would seem there must be some bug in the ata driver? Cheers, Kal.
