With my attempt at the installation of Xwindows, my learning curve is going through the roof!!! I have a few questions: Never having used X before, I am after some documentation on the operation, admin etc of it all. I havent been able to find any as yet. Any suggestions? I found out I got my mouse working (thanks heaps to those who replied) by walking into our 'play room' this morning and finding it waiting for a login in that fancy X way(!?) I proceeded to try and login as both root and a normal user, both of which came to no avail. I cant get past that screen. What I need is a boot in the right direction. I am wandering blind at the moment so a few pointers would be excellent. Thanks to all! Aaron Elliott, CNA. [VK3AJQ] Swinburne University of Technology, Prahran Campus. Melbourne Australia.
