First, POP3 has _nothing_ to do with sendmail e-mail.  It's a mail
_retrieval_ protocol.

Sending e-mail is SMTP's job, which is handled by sendmail.  There are
many good anti-spam resources at http://www.sendmail.org/.  I also suggest
you get sendmail 8.9.0 which adds many new anti-spam features.
