Hello altogether,

... is there a specific reason for omitting the obvious change
to 'scsiconf.c' which would achieve 'out-of-the-box'-support
for the zip-drive as an 'optical^h^h^h^h^h^h^hremovable' disc?

For sure: I've read all the threads concerning 'od' / MOs
and Zip-Drives I could find on 'current' and 'scsi'.

'Current'ly I have to patch 'scsiconf.c' with respect to my zip-drive
after each and every cvsup manually.

Regards,
   Andreas
