Any suggestions? > If you think about it, what Netscape did was to make up for a deficiency in Win9X by creating the concept of a different directory for each user and called them "profiles". The directories are to be found under Program Files/Netscape/Users . These are similar to the .netscape directory found in your home directory with FreeBSD. I have two mail servers I check regularly, my home server and the one at work. I have different user names, so I just create another user on FreeBSD with the other name. This creates, not just a Netscape user directory, but the possibility of copying and modifying your window manager to the new directory and having a different desktop setup. You have a whole directory tree with *permissions* and other strange unix concepts! I think Netscape didn't do it because it would be less flexible.
