While I am able to boot the system fully, I have noticed the error message "no /boot/loader" upon inital boot, with: "loader(8) metadata missing" showing up a bit later one during the boot process. I don't know about the second message, but I can definitely say that /boot/loader exists with rx permission for all.....I haven't changed a thing since installing. I've come across quite a few questions about this in forums and whatnot, but very little in the way of answers. Can anyone shed some light? dmesg follows Thanks! o Copyright (c) 1992-2003 The FreeBSD Project.
