My maillog file filled up with error messages saying: pr 25 20:25:30 itchy sendmail[1286]: gethostbyaddr(206.205.132.204) failed: 1 Apr 25 20:25:30 itchy sendmail[1286]: gethostbyaddr(206.205.132.214) failed: 1 Apr 25 20:25:30 itchy sendmail[1286]: gethostbyaddr(206.205.132.216) failed: 1 Apr 25 20:25:30 itchy sendmail[1286]: gethostbyaddr(206.205.132.219) failed: 1 Apr 25 20:25:30 itchy sendmail[1286]: gethostbyaddr(206.205.132.220) failed: 1 Apr 25 20:25:30 itchy sendmail[1286]: gethostbyaddr(206.205.132.224) failed: 1 Apr 25 20:25:31 itchy sendmail[1286]: gethostbyaddr(206.205.132.226) failed: 1 and any mail originating locally but going out failed with a "Relaying denied" error. I believe my name server provides correct reverse lookups for these addresses. Any ideas? If it matters, I'm running 2.5-STABLE (yes, I know it's old, but I've been up for 200 days).
