For those that want to experiment:

kldload sound
kldload snd_uaudio

If your midi adapter is detected it should show up like /dev/umidiX.Y .

PS: You need to use the LibUmidi from my SVN report and/or my MidiStudio to 
play back and record standard MIDI files. It does not work with OSS Midi yet.
