Hello, I had this problem with my K6 III 400. The resolution was to add a couple of options to the kernel. # NO_MEMORY_HOLE is an optimisation for systems with AMD K6 processors # which indicates that the 15-16MB range is *definitely* not being # occupied by an ISA memory hole. # CPU_WT_ALLOC enables write allocation on Cyrix 6x86/6x86MX and AMD # K5/K6/K6-2 cpus. You can also disable all the other options and devices you are not using on you system in making the custom kernel. 72yan M > Will that lovely error get fixed with AMD CPUs?
