Thanks - I did work out how to rebuild the kernel and it was fairly painless in the end. If I will only have to do one bodged installer for 6.2 before 7.0 includes the driver I want as standard, and then I *don't* have to rebuild future releases, that should do for now. cheers, -- Matthew
