   They are. Wcarchive's kernel is very close to stock except for a few
parameter tweaks which aren't appropriate for general use. This hasn't always
been true, however. I often develop performance enhancements for wcarchive
and slowly merge them into -current as appropriate. I just haven't had any
reason to do this recently since we ran out of bandwidth and the machine is
plenty fast enough to keep up with current demands.
